_QUOTE OF THE DAY:
“Fill your life with lots of experiences, not lots of things. Focus on having incredible stories to tell, not incredible clutter in your closets.” Unknown
#MORNINFG (10:00)
Another late morning for me, which seems to become a new normal. I guess my batteries recharging capacity is declining slowly but surely. And it comes together with the bitter sweet realisation that today is my last Piscine Sunday and tomorrow the last 5 days will start its count…
So as a good runner I do plan on giving it all go get to the finish line. As for this morning, I set myself a goal to concentrate and dive in the videos and the exos. I will try to find back my early days bulldozer attitude and move forward at the pace that would outdo the recent 1,5 exos per day…

_OVERALL:
I have suddenly realised that today was the last Sunday of the Piscine. And as impatient as I am to find back my usual weekends routines and get back to the before piscine definition on the “early Sunday morning”, I know that I will miss it all.
As I realised that this amazing adventure is almost over I have also realised that I don’t have much time to check all the extra curricular activities on my list and I need to speed it up if I still plan get somewhere on this front.
The first one is the film! I have briefly spoken about it yesterday and I plan on starting to shoot the short interviews and some general sequences to edit together into something like “Piscine insider” video afterwards.
_WORKTIME: 12h
_TOPIC:
I’m still on the DAY08, which is about .H and Structures. And the good news is that I have finally understood this (3 days struggle seems to be a magic number for any new material…) and with the help of my next screen neighbours and one of the most supportive peer profs @Gabriel I did manage to understand the brain-twisting exercise #5. And with fingers crossed I hope to validate this one tomorrow.
DAY10 & DAY11 & DAY12
Those 3 were a part of an accelerated weekend course imposed by the RUSH needs and I did watch all the videos on the 3 days material. I have a hell of a cocktail of all the things I didn’t understand about each of the 3 but there is also a portion of what I did understand. So I hopefully will be able to get to the “understanding” state of all 3 by Wednesday evening which would be just on time to leave one last day for the preparation for the final exam.

_HIGHTLIGTS:
1.MOVIE. Today I decided to do my weekend Kate and thus I dedicated a certain portion of my day to do some interviews with the people I had a pleasure to work with day to day, during the group projects or that I met during the correction, at the cafeteria and in the hallways. I didn’t manage to film everyone I wanted to but I did manage to recruit my future speakers for tomorrow and I plan on finishing all the filming by tomorrow evening so that I can get my head 100% back into coding.
2.CODE VS TALK PARADOX. Together with “it’s the last Sunday” realisation came a second one: I will terribly miss the friends I have met during this amazing first 3 weeks and once the idea got into my head the conversations about life slowly took over the conversations about code. And thus is the 3:18 log time. And also the special mention to @Maxime and @Jack for the rich life-love-war-peace conversation over the lunch and the evening session on the same topic (which was rather a one-woman-show “Kate and her eccentricities”). Let’s consider this one as an ultimate pit stop before the final line run and so tomorrow is the work work work!
